Fujian WIDE PLUS attended the IEC61610 international standard-setting conference

(Summary description)From October 22 to 26, IEC61610 International Standard drafting working meeting was held in Fluke headquarters, USA. Our senior engineer GE Jian attended the International Standard drafting working meeting on behalf of Fujian WIDE PLUS.

IECTC66WG1 working group was established in October 2008, in charge of IEC61610 standard drafting working group, LEC61010 standard is for industrial automation instrument application safety aspects, including all aspects of industrial field application, for example: site temperature, humidity, working voltage, current, mechanical impact, gas, radiation, lighting, instrument manufacturing process, operators and so on, very specific, very strict requirements, our country has been equivalent to the introduction of the corresponding national standard number is GB4793. The third edition is currently in use. The Working Group is currently working on the fourth edition. Each edition has new content and improvements. The Working Group meets twice a year to discuss and process comments and suggestions from companies around the world on the draft standards, produce new drafts and issue exposure drafts. The work of the working group was serious and the atmosphere of the meeting was always warm and not ignoring every comment and suggestion.

Good news came during the meeting. At the IECTC 65 annual meeting held in Korea, we passed the“Safety requirements for data switches in industrial automation control systems” jointly drafted by our company and Beijing Yi Comprehensive Institute, the chair of Lectc65 has included the draft standard in its work, and the corresponding working group WG13 convenor, Mr. Bob of GE of the United States, also made a presentation at the conference. Our Company and Beijing Yi Comprehensive Institute are the first drafters of the draft standard, which is an important achievement of our country's standardization work and our company's standardization work.
