The international standard proposed by Fujian WIDE PLUS and Beijing Yi Comprehensive Institute was approved by IEC
(Summary description)Recently, the international standard for safety requirements of industrial communication equipment put forward by WIDE PLUS and Beijing Yi Comprehensive Institute in Fujian province has been approved by LEC.
With the continuous application of new technologies such as intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet and new generation artificial intelligence in industrial fields, industrial safety is facing increasingly severe challenges, the traditional single safety protection system can not meet the current industrial site safety needs. To establish a security life cycle management system covering all elements, to construct a deep defense mechanism that integrates inherent security, functional security and information security, and to solve the coordination and integration of security elements, is under the new situation the industrial safety technology development front topic.
Based on improving the overall safety level of industrial communications equipment to meet the increasing safety needs of industrial sites, March 2017, it is jointly organized by SAC/TC124, SAC/TC338, and SAC/TC124, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC124, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC124, SAC/TC124, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC124, SAC/TC124, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC338, SAC/TC Dr. Liu Xiaojing of Beijing Yi Comprehensive Institute and Gejian Senior Engineer of Fujian WIDE PLUS Precision Instrument Co. , Ltd. led the establishment of International Standards Drafting Working Group on safety requirements for industrial communication equipment, conducted joint research and experimental validation of inherently security-critical technologies for equipment such as Industrial Ethernet switches, industrial gateways and industrial routers, and completed the development of draft IEC International Standards in December 2018, the NP proposal was submitted to IEC through Chinese National Committee. After 4 months of voting by IEC National Committees, the IEC International Standard was finally formally approved. The working group is scheduled to meet for the first time in July this year and aims to complete international standard-setting within two years.
