According to the relevant person in charge of the information bureau of Fuzhou Development Zone, the Internet of Things Industrial Park focuses on the construction of the Internet of Things industry public service platform, technology innovation center and incubator, of which the first phase of the planning land of 118 acres, located in the Kuaian Park area 8 plot, the total construction area of 316,000 square meters, the project construction period is 24 months, will build the Internet of Things industry incubator and its supporting service facilities. The recently widely concerned Huawei narrowband Internet of Things open lab is also preliminarily planned.
It is understood that in order to support the development of the Internet of Things industry, the provincial government has previously issued the "Eight Measures on Accelerating the Development of the Internet of Things Industry" to support Fuzhou to further enhance the agglomeration effect of the Mawei Internet of Things industrial base and deepen the creation of a national Internet of Things industrial concentration area. At present, the development zone has passed the identification of 65 iot enterprises, more than 100 associated enterprises, gathered a group of core competitive iot well-known enterprises such as New Land Technology, WIDE PLUS, Guomai, Guanlin, distributed in the iot industry chain perception layer, transmission layer, application layer and other main links.
In 2016, the output value of iot related enterprises in the development zone is expected to reach 54 billion yuan, an increase of 20%, and it is expected to exceed 60 billion yuan in 2017, and strive to build 100 billion iot industrial park by 2020. The application of Internet of Things products and services has developed into an all-round and multi-field development, and has strong competitive advantages in smart city construction, smart home, and car networking.
