(Summary description)On the morning of January 8, the 2022“Measuring Friendship Cup” Table tennis at the Summer Olympics, jointly sponsored by the Fujian Institute of Metrology and Testing and the Fujian WIDE PLUS Trade Union, kicked off at the WIDE PLUS Workers' home, the athletes fully displayed the sportsmanship of Friendship First and competition second, and showed a wonderful match to everyone. At the same time, the exchanges enhanced the friendship between the two sides.



Chi Hui, president of the Fujian Institute of Metrology and Testing, Huang xunsong, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujian WIDE PLUS Institute of Metrology and testing, Xu Hang, chief expert of the Metrology Technology Innovation Think Tank of the Fujian Province Institute of Metrology and testing, Cheng Huayan, deputy secretary-general of the Provincial Institute of Metrology and testing, Zou Chong, vice president of the Fujian WIDE PLUS Institute, and Chen Weidong, President Assistant/trade union chairman, attended the event. President Chi Hui and chairman Huang Xun-song made speeches respectively for the opening ceremony, cheering and encouraging the athletes. They not only hoped that they could strengthen their bodies and enrich their cultural and entertainment life through this friendly competition, and hope that through the games to enhance friendship and promote future friendly cooperation between the two sides. In order to make the competition more fair and orderly, Xu Hang, the chief expert, was specially invited as the referee.

The Table tennis at the Summer Olympics will be played in doubles, a team-wide round robin in which teams win two out of three games, set up a total of first prize 2 groups, second prize 4 groups, third prize 6 groups, provincial measurement and testing society sent 7 teams, I sent 5 teams, both sides launched a fierce contest.

Shangyun underwent several days of active training and selection before the competition, wang Wenbing, Li Xiaoping, Chen Xiaobing, Xu Baoming, Zhang Houjian, Lin Xiaoping, Luo libing and Huang Tian were selected to form four men's and one women's groups. Doubles more test the ability to cooperate with each other, provincial measurement and testing institute players have a good strength, many of them provincial athletes. At the scene of the match, the athletes' morale is high and they are fighting bravely. The straight racket, the horizontal racket, the smash, the spin ball, the curveball and so on are all embodied one by one, presenting a very wonderful match for us. Finally, the province of measurement and testing society players by virtue of excellent strength points won first prize and second prize, we won the third prize.

At the end of the main matches, the top players were also organised for the individual singles exhibition round, with zero tricky angles, a series of exquisite arcs and vicious smash shots, all show their strength and reaction speed, won the scene bursts of applause.

The 2022“Measuring Friendship Cup” Table tennis at the Summer Olympics was successfully concluded after a full day of intense competition. The competition enhanced exchanges and collaboration between the two sides through mutual learning, exchanges and mutual promotion, at the same time, hope to promote the unity and friendship of both sides through more activities in the future.
