(Summary description)October 25-27,2011, the 4th plenary meeting of TC124 and the 4th plenary meeting of TC338 were held in Jingcheng Hotel, Fuzhou City, China, a total of 200 delegates attended the meeting.
    The meeting was attended by Standardization Administration of China Director Sun Wei, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China Director Zhou Ping, Department Director of equipment, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Tan Xiangning, and vice president Zou Chong of Fujian WIDE PLUS Precision Instruments Co. , Ltd. .
    At the meeting, Standardization Administration of China Director Sun Wei extended warm congratulations on the convening of the fourth plenary meeting of SACTC124 and emphasized the important role of process measurement and control technology and standardization, this paper introduces the general requirements of the National Standardization work determined in 2011, and puts forward that the management procedure of the standard establishment and revision should be reformed and perfected, the system should be perfected, the management should be strict, the responsibility should be carried out, and the closed loop should be formed. Director Sun Wei fully affirmed the work and achievements of the bid committee over the past year, and requested that the bid committee should seize the development opportunities of strategic emerging industries, further improve the level of our measurement control and automation equipment standardization work.
    Zhou Ping, director of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China high-tech department, reported on the State of Science and technology development planning in the fields of advanced manufacturing and automation during the “Fifteen” period, as well as to the manufacturing industry and the manufacturing technology development tendency and the characteristic, our country manufacturing industry faces the challenge, the green manufacturing and the intelligent manufacturing technology development demand background, the strategic goal and the main task.

   Zou Chong, vice-president of Fujian WIDE PLUS Precision Instruments Co. , Ltd. , introduced the active participation of WIDE PLUS enterprises in domestic international standard work in recent years and expressed full support for the work of SACTC124. He wished the conference a complete success.

    Professor Ouyang Jinsong, secretary-general of SAC/TC124, made the fourth annual work report of SAC/TC124 in 2011. The secretary-general or chairman members of SAC/TC124/SC1-SC10 made the annual work report of each sub-committee in 2011 The meeting also reviewed draft national standards such as HART protocol specifications and technical specifications for Industrial Ethernet switches for measurement and control.
    During the conference, all delegates were also organized to visit Fujian WIDE PLUS Precision Instruments Co. , Ltd. . President Huang Xunsong and vice president Zou Chong introduced the company's development goals and product lines to the delegates respectively, on the evening of the 25th, a welcome dinner was held to welcome all delegates to Fuzhou.
    Finally, SAC/TC124 secretary-general Professor Ouyang Jinsong made a summary speech to the General Assembly, and thanked the leaders and members for their strong support to the work of the Secretariat of the bid commission, and promised that the Secretariat of the Tender Commission will continue to serve members well in the future work.
