Moderator:Welcome to our China quality live broadcast room. When we watched the video just now, we saw that our company is also contributing to the launch of Shenzhou spacecraft. I think this, uh, fully reflects the strength of our company. For our company, UH, it is also a milestone event. Can you tell us about this event?

Lam Yan-cheung:Fujian WIDE PLUS Precision Instrument Co. , Ltd. was established in 1991, mainly committed to sensors, control instruments, tube valves and quartz watch movement r & D and production. The company's core personnel have many years of experience in instrumentation, precision manufacturing, injection molding, polymer materials, electronics, communications, automation and other disciplines and technology fields, effective research has been carried out. With years of deep technical reserves and continuous investment, perfect throughout the R & D, manufacturing and service of the Total Quality Management System, product consistency, reliability and stability have reached the international level of similar products. At present, the entire automation products have been widely used in the petroleum, chemical, environmental protection, power and shipping industries, especially the company's automation products, in China's space industry (middle) , made a great contribution.

Moderator:According to my understanding of our company, I know WIDE PLUS is also one of the leading enterprises in our domestic instrument R & D industry. So now, the market competition is so fierce, we rely on what to win?

Lam Yan-cheung:The pace of technological development in today's society is very fast. The development of automatic instruments also follows the pace of technological development. Therefore, no matter which industry, it should strive to make progress through its own innovation, to keep up with the pace of technological development. The company was able to develop in the fierce market competition, first of all to adhere to the high-precision Mechatronics Engineering Manufacturing Technology as a company's foothold. The company was founded in the early days, with automatic products and quartz watch movement two industries jointly developed, through the development of watch movement and accessories manufacturing to research precision processing technology.At this stage, we trained a large number of precision manufacturing technician team, for the company to the field of sensors and field instrumentation to develop a talent base. In these decades of continuous efforts, the company created a“Multi-coordinate interactive positioning” of high-precision manufacturing technology. Now no matter in the precision processing equipment or in the precision processing technology, has formed a set of high-precision manufacturing technology system, to promote the field instrument to a higher level of development has laid the technical foundation, this is also a core competitiveness of the company.The company invested 1 billion yuan in 2009 to start the second phase of the company's construction project. The project introduced a large number of high-precision machining equipment, such as 5-axis Machining Center, CNC Universal Machining Center, high-speed CNC horizontal machining center. These centers can make and process complex parts with high accuracy up to 100 nanometers. Now the second phase of the Project R & D production of high-end on-site instrumentation, to solve our high-end fields, such as petroleum and petrochemical, process industry control of a domestic problem. Secondly, the company is focused on product quality and service quality. With the development of manufacturing technology, the homogeneity of products is more and more serious. Moderator:And as you mentioned just now, we produce these complex parts with a precision of 100 nanometers. What is 100 nanometers?

Lam Yan-cheung:Let's make an analogy, the thickness of human hair is not the same, generally our hair is eight silk, eight silk is 0.08 mm. At 0.1 mm, 100 nanometers is a thousandth of the size of a human hair.

Moderator:President Lin, in recent years, our domestic industrial manufacturing industry can be said to have made rapid progress, but many people still believe that“The moon abroad is more round than the domestic”, what do you think about this?

Lam Yan-cheung:Since the reform and opening-up, due to the weakness of our basic technology, the state has successively introduced production equipment or production lines with advanced international standards in all walks of life, the production technology and economic benefits of production enterprises have been rapidly developed. Also at this stage, the main foreign manufacturers with financial strength and technical advantages, quickly occupied the Chinese market, to domestic manufacturers bring great challenges. While accepting the challenge, domestic enterprises, including WIDE PLUS in Fujian province, also rely on their own wisdom and hard work to keep pace with the development of modern intelligent equipment on the basis of absorbing advanced technology and management experience from abroad, speed up the research of new products and new technologies, in product performance and quality to the international advanced level. At the same time, domestic enterprises rely on local advantages, the maximum close to the domestic market, reduce the cost of manufacturing, equipment localization has made remarkable achievements. However, influenced by the habitual thinking that domestic users have always relied on imported products, in the newly-built large and medium-sized major projects, some users preferred to target imported products, especially in the current bidding process, it is customary for domestic products to be bid in a category with imported products from abroad. Products with high-end technology content are only allowed to compete with foreign products, this has led to a monopoly of high-tech products by foreign enterprises, which puts domestic high-end equipment in a disadvantageous competitive position in the application of such projects, and greatly undermines the confidence of domestic enterprises in the development of technology.

Moderator:You have also repeatedly mentioned the localization of industrial control products. Is there any meaning in this localization of industrial control products?

Lam Yan-cheung:Industrial automation instrument products involve materials, electronics, software, high-precision processing and other fields. The industry of automatic instruments belongs to the high-end manufacturing industry. The products include the instrument automation products of industrial control systems, such as those produced by WIDE PLUS in Fujian Province, pressure sensor, temperature sensor, electromagnetic flowmeter, instrument tube valves and other products. Among them, sensor products are related to the security of national energy and other strategic industries. The domestic market of industrial automation instruments has been monopolized by foreign manufacturers for a long time, and this unreasonable monopoly even has a growing momentum. Some foreign automation manufacturers, after more than 20 years of operation in China, rely on the accumulation of brands and contacts to establish a monopoly position. According to the statistics of the 41 large and super-large petrochemical plants being operated by petrochina and Sinopec, as well as more than 1,000 large and medium-sized power plants in the power industry, imported industrial control systems account for 74 percent of the total, the proportion of imported sensor products has reached more than 80% .In the wake of the hacking of Iran's nuclear power plant, the impact of industrial automation on operational security has been a matter of intense concern, and the Snowden incident has given us a number of warnings. Therefore, we believe that the localization of industrial control products is imminent, and the national energy industry industrial control security needs the localization of industrial control products. Think about it. If the control system and key industrial control products used are basically monopolized by foreign companies, where is industrial security and national security? And reduce investment, reduce foreign exchange spending and foreign technology dependence, but also require industrial control products to achieve early localization. In view of this, in 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Standardization Administration of China jointly issued the Action Plan for accelerating the development of the sensor and intelligent instrumentation industry, according to the plan, the state requires a period of about 15 years to realize the transformation of industrial forms and a substantial increase in innovation capacity, basically meeting the needs of key industries and the construction of national defense, in major projects related to national defense and key industry security needs of sensors and intelligent instrumentation to achieve self-manufacturing and self-control, high-end products and services market share by 2025 to reach more than 50% .

Moderator:Just now we have been talking about localization, localization. We all know that our country's oil and electricity, uh, can be said to be a middle-and high-end market for the application of industrial control products, so what kind of attitude do they have toward the localization of this industrial control product?

Lam Yan-cheung:Judging from the current market, the current construction of petrochemical and power projects, most of them are some state-owned enterprises and local Sasac, they are very supportive of the localization of industrial control products. But because this industrial-controlled product is like the eyes, brain and hands of the manufacturing process, it can detect, measure, observe and calculate various physical quantities, components and parameters, and realize the functions of automatic control, alarm, signal transmission and data transmission. The performance and quality of industrial control products determine the production safety of process industry. At present, our project owners are still in a situation of lack of confidence in domestic products, which makes the project at the time of bidding, the project owner takes the performance of the bidding enterprise as a key assessment content, which is a paradox, is equivalent to the chicken or the egg. Performance as an assessment of the content, but also makes the domestic innovative enterprises and international monopolies in the competition, in a disadvantageous position. Therefore, we strongly suggest that part of the proposed national large-scale energy projects should be set aside as a supporting project for the localization of industrial control products, to promote the market application of China's independent and innovative industrial control products, to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing industry.

Moderator:Do you think there is any difference between our domestic industrial control products and our imported industrial control products? You have just mentioned that many people may not have much confidence in our domestic industrial products. Is it because our domestic products are not as good as foreign ones? Or what do you think we should do to exceed the quality level of foreign countries?

Lam Yan-cheung:The development direction of foreign industrial control products is towards the direction of miniaturization, intellectualization, networking and virtualization, which is also a direction of our country's industrial control industry development and learning. After more than 10 years of construction and development, our industrial control products have formed a relatively complete product categories, with a certain production scale and development capacity of the industrial system. At present, an oligopoly pattern of international brands has basically formed in the market, domestic also basically formed by Fujian WIDE PLUS, Chongqing Chuanyi, Shanghai Weltai, Zhejiang University in control, Beijing and Belgium as representatives of some mainstream brands. However, there is still a gap between domestic development level and international level, mainly as follows: Gap 1, the reliability of products to be further improved; The second gap is that the level of miniaturization, intelligence, integration needs to be improved; the third gap is that the high-tech start late, especially the material technology research; the fourth gap is that the product accuracy needs to be improved; GAP 5, variety specifications are not sound enough; the sixth gap is the overall low level of automation; gap 7, relatively few high-grade products; gap 8, low market share. Therefore, if we want to solve these gaps with the international, we hope that the development of industrial control products with enterprises and the government to work together in many ways. For Enterprises, we should strengthen the r & D of high-end products, even in the R & D process regardless of cost, only the development of core technology to capture the market and win international respect. For the government or industry organizations, in the procurement of national projects, to give domestic enterprises some shares and opportunities, is not only an encouragement to excellent enterprises, but also a spur to our entire industry. Only by recognizing the shortcomings and catching up can we finally catch up with and surpass them.

Moderator:Now there are many policies, such as Industry 4.0, “Belt and Road”, “Internet plus” and so on. It can be said that for our enterprise, it is both an opportunity and a challenge. So how do we make good use of these policies?

Lam Yan-cheung:A series of strategies issued by the state, especially in the outline of the national Made in China 2025 plan, specifically set out to speed up the development of intelligent manufacturing equipment and products, breakthrough in new sensors, intelligent measuring instruments and other intelligent core devices, to promote engineering and industrialization of this series of strategies, for us is full of expectations. We believe that with the gradual changes in the market, enterprises should adapt to the three major trends of service, knowledge and networking, and constantly adjust our products and services, then drive the enterprise's resources, the enterprise's system and the leadership change, forms a new competitive power.

In addition, state policy has been vigorously fostering strategic emerging industries, including new energy, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection, biomedicine, information networks and high-end manufacturing industries, with the development of Internet of things (iot) and the increasing demand of new projects and technical transformation projects, there are new opportunities for the development of industrial automation instruments.
