The 8th Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Achievement Awards held a grand prize presentation ceremony in Hong Kong on December 11. “A kind of NB-IoT-based wireless intelligent remote transmission water meter”, which was independently developed and manufactured by our company, won the Gold Award of Asian International Innovation Invention Award.

The Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Achievement Awards (HKITPA) is a competition organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Innovation, technology and manufacturing industries (FITMI) , the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Achievement Awards has become a prominent annual event in the Hong Kong industrial sector. In previous years, there were mainly three categories of awards, these include the Manufacturing Excellence Award, the Innovation and Technology Achievement Award and the New Generation Achievement Award, which recognise outstanding companies and elites in the industry, in order to further promote the development of innovation in Hong Kong and the Asian region, the Hong Kong Innovation Federation and the China Invention Association jointly held the 2018 Asian Innovation Awards and exhibition for the first time this year, supported by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and 44 organisations including the Intellectual Property Department of the Hong Kong Government, Hong Kong tertiary institutions and enterprises. Our company, with the latest R & D results, “NB-IoT-based wireless intelligent remote water meter”, made its debut in the competition and gained wide attention, it breaks through the traditional product structure, accurate measurement and transmission, more beneficial to water health and other advantages, in the event in the first place, won the Asian International Innovation Award Top prize-gold Award.
