The WP-LU series vortex flowmeter is mainly used for the flow measurement of industrial pipeline fluids, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media. It is characterized by small pressure loss, large measuring range, and high accuracy. It is hardly affected by fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other parameters when measuring volume flow under working conditions. There are no movable mechanical parts, so the reliability is high and the maintenance is small. The instrument constant can be stable for a long time.

   Our company has developed a new generation of vortex flowmeters. Its indicators have fully reached the advanced level of similar foreign products, and are more excellent in terms of seismic resistance and nonlinear correction. It is a vortex flowmeter with more functions, high cost performance and good reliability among similar domestic flowmeters. It is also a vortex flowmeter that is worthy of trust and selection by users.

 

>Working principle
 

The WP-LU type vortex flowmeter is based on the theory of the generation of vortex and the relationship between vortex and flow by Carmen and Strohar to measure the flow of steam, gas and low viscosity liquid. As shown in Figure 1, a triangular column, the vortex generator, is inserted vertically into the watch body. When a medium flows through the watch body, the Karman vortex with opposite direction and regularity is alternately generated behind the triangular column. The separation frequency of the vortex is F It is proportional to the flow velocity V of the medium. By detecting the number of vortexes through the sensor head, the fluid flow rate can be measured, and then the volume flow of the measured medium can be calculated according to the diameter of the meter body.

  F……The vortex frequency (unit: Hz) produced by the fluid flowing through the triangular column of the vortex street

  D……Internal diameter of vortex street surface (unit: m)
  Q……Instantaneous volume flow (unit: m3/h)
  K……The meter coefficient of the vortex street (unit: number of pulses/cubic meter)
  M……Instantaneous mass flow (unit: Kg/h)
  Ρ… Fluid density (unit: Kg/ m3)
   Note: For vortex flow sensors of different calibers, the meter coefficient K value is different. The specific value is actually calibrated by the flow calibration device, meaning the number of pulses per cubic meter. That is, the number of vortices generated by one cubic meter of fluid on one side of the triangle column.
